Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Cup (2 Sticks) Softened Butter

2 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour

½ Cup Granulated Sugar
|
¾ tsp Salt
|
1 ½ Cups Packed Brown Sugar
|
1 tsp baking powder
|
2 Eggs
|
1 tsp baking soda
|
2 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
(try to use real not imitation)
|
1 ½ – 2 (12 oz) bags of choc. chips.
(use a variety semi-sweet, milk, mini,
chunk etc)

- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
- In a Large Mixing Bowl, cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- With your fingers, place a golf ball sized dough portions, 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9-10 mins or JUST UNTIL THE EDGES ARE LIGHT BROWN! Do not over cook!
- Take out and spatula them on to aluminum foil on the counter. They will set up! Promise!
