Happy St. Patricks Day - it was a great day to spend outside :)

Woke up this morning and saw that the weather was going to be really nice. So I got the kids working on lunch (packing a cooler) and I got the bikes and extra clothes etc and we headed to Moraine State Park to enjoy the day. I love being a homeschool family where the kids of other families are in school so we have places to ourselves! It was beautiful! 

We flew kites, had a picnic, road bikes, played in the puddles, on the playground and just had a great day! Oh and we got the kite stuck in a tree (isn't that like a law that kites have to get stuck in the tree?) and we successfully got it down and it is saved! We can do anything we put our minds too! A little prayer helped too though :)

When we had been there for a few hours and people started coming (we went early and were the only ones there) we decided to go home. I got all the kids changed and the car packed up and one of the other moms called out to me "You are super mom!" It made me feel good. The kids and have a system and we work well together. They really are great kids. And I love them so much!
