Max on Life - a Booksneeze Review

I was very anxious to get the book Max on Life for review from BookSneeze.com . I have read many books in the past by Max Lucado and I find his style very refreshing. I always read his books more in love with my Savior and feeling that they have helped my walk and faith to grow. So I eagerly picked this book to review. I was not disappointed!

Max on Life is a collection of questions that Max has received over the years of ministry. Some simple, some complex. Questions touch on hard subjects and  there is something in the book that will hit home with everyone that has ever thought about God and Christianity. From Angels around us, to Abortions and Forgiveness. From what happens to someone who commits suicide to controlling anger. Max Lucado does not shy away from the hard questions that many people sincerely want to know.

This book far exceeded my expectations. I thought I would review it gently and then pass it along as perhaps a Christmas or Birthday gift... but I am going to be keeping this for my library. This is a book you can reference time and time again. I think it is perfect for pastors, parents and everyday Christians who want scripture and biblical answers. Max answers from his own point of view but backs them up with scripture and references.

The book was laid out in sections, very easy to read, and had a great appearance. I would most surely recommend this book to others. You will not be disappointed.

I received this book free from booksneeze.com and was not required to give a positive review.

  2. Funny..I was thinking the same thing... about what you wrote as being so much better than what I did. I attributed it to the fact that you had been doing this longer. lol what a pair we make :)
